America’s Problem: The American representative democracy’s greatest threat is the current state of divisiveness. Great Republics don’t fail from external forces. Like ancient Rome and Yugoslavia, they fail from internal strife and decay. This often-unspoken problem corrodes the American way of life from the inside. The polarization of key departments in the American government, such as defense and justice, are symptomatic of the same problem. Furthermore, the critical issues facing America’s future (national debt, immigration, and an ineffective military system to name a few) are consistently unaddressed because solutions don’t fall perfectly in-line with one political party’s dogma. The American people are at an inflection point and must decide soon if the current form of government still serves their interests.
Authentic Americans is a virtual town hall where independent thinkers can network, think, and discuss critical issues facing the American representative democracy across all political ideologies, ethnicities, classes, and religions. This community seeks to reunite a UNITED States. The standalone website provides an open platform for Authentic Americans to pull video and written content onto their respective social media pages, thereby raising awareness for critical issues facing the representative democracy. Authentic Americans also provides multiple established options for raising capital (fundraising, influencing, and supporting) on critical topics defined by the community on Authentic Americans. This capital will positively impact politicians, military/first-responders, blue collar workers, and suburban spouses whose values fall in line with the organization.
Our generation needs to accept that change is only going to come from the people. Our generation needs to stop looking to the government for solutions. Government solutions are inefficient and often create more problems.
Our generation needs to decide soon if they want to be a UNITED States of America. If so, they need to open their minds on social media and make a deliberate effort to change their echo chamber into an open forum.
People must define their individual values prior to conflict. Prosperity, status, stability, and wealth cannot take priority over independent thought and values. Fear will drive actions in people who fail to contemplate their personal values prior to conflict. Love and truth will drive actions if people understand their personal values and decide to vocally and actively defend their beliefs when the situation requires courageous action.
Our generation needs to get active. Words are meaningless without action to back them up.
